TUESDAY 24 – JAIME FIGUEROA

Relocation to Panama – Jaime is an expert in relocation. He has a company called Panama All in One and as you can guess they do everything you need to relocate in Panama. Jaime promotes investment in Panama on a world basis and he was leaving the following day on a Europe and USA tour to give conferences about Panama.

Tourism – as an avid writer, Jaime has written opinion articles for La Prensa Newspaper about tourism. He has also been a strong influence in improving the Tocumen Airport and still continues to do inspections and gives customer service conferences for employees working at the airport.

WEDNESDAY 25 – RAFAEL CINIGLIO

Expo Vino – A yearly expo done by 3 restaurant owners, including Rafael Ciniglio, which allows different distributors to promote their wine. The cost of the event is $2 and the glass (which you get to keep) is $10 for 10 tastings and wine . All the proceeds of this event go to El Vicariato del Darien – so you are drinking for a good cause.

Vino Club – a local wine club, which offers tastings, classes about wine, discounts at restaurants, and distributors. The cost of being a member is $10 a month.

Restaurante de las Americas – Chef Rafael Ciniglio and owner of the Italian restaurant spoke on our show about his favorite dishes to cook in his restaurant including salmon ravioli and answered questions from our listeners like what kind of wine goes best with meat or chicken – he says that it is a myth chicken goes with white wine and meat goes with red – if you cooks with a certain type of wine he recommends to use the same wine for drinking. His restaurant is very well known and has famous guests including Mel Gibson.

THURSDAY 26 – CYNTHIA CUDMORE – MULDER

Cerrito Tropical Panama – is owned by Cynthia and is a lovely bed and breakfast in Taboga. The hotel offers activity packages and relaxing weekends just a short boat ride away from Panama. Cynthia also spoke to us about the history of Taboga an island historically recognized for being the center of pirate and conquistadors; including Father Luque, Francisco Pizarro, Captains Morgan and Townley, back in the 1500’s.
